Nowadays when electronic baby monitor gadgets are increasingly becoming a popular merchandise given the constant exposure via the mass media advertising drive, I venture to speculate that it will not take too long a time when a contest will be staged for the purpose of finding which is the best baby monitor in the market today. Now, as to how necessary really is a baby monitor, I have yet to hear from the actual users of the gadget the acceptable answer. Quite frankly, I, for one, do not have experiential knowledge about baby monitors. In our family, we do not consider an electronic baby monitor as a basic necessity for the care of a baby. Happily, we have babies in our family but the way we monitor our innocent ones is personalized. Maybe, the next generations in our family lineage will see appreciate differently the value of having those gadgets as an integral part of baby care.
